Early adolescence represents perhaps the most turbulent years of growing up. Yet those between the ages of 12 and 15 possess altruism, a sense of justice, eagerness to learn about the universe, and a desire to contribute to building a better world.
Our Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program (JYSEP) seeks to raise the capacity of those in this age group so they may take charger of their own spiritual, social, and intellectual development.
This program is open to all young people, of every religious or non-religious background, and assists them to navigate through this crucial stage of life. The program explores themes from a Bahá’í perspective but not in the mode of religious instruction.
JYSEP groups are forming all the time in San Francisco. For more information on how you can get involved, please go the Contact page.
